The Jade Tower residential complex, designed by HCP, has won the Luxury Lifestyle Award in the “Best Sustainable Luxury Residential” category, one of the highest international awards in this category in the architecture sector.
Jade Tower has achieved this recognition as “Best Sustainable Luxury Residential” thanks to its design and construction, in which innovative solutions aimed at minimizing environmental impact have been applied. This has enabled the project to obtain the BREEAM seal due, among other factors, to the reduction of the building’s energy consumption by up to 70% and water consumption by up to 40%. In addition, Jade Tower prioritizes biodiversity conservation by including shelters for pollinating insects, as well as dry stone habitats and planting of native species.
Innovation is also applied to the design of the homes and common areas, creating 116 luxury apartments in which we optimize spaces to the maximum to create comfortable and functional environments. The brightness gains prominence with large windows that communicate the interior of the homes with spacious terraces designed to make the most of the Mediterranean lifestyle.
One of the most valued factors in awarding Jade Tower the prize for “Best Sustainable Luxury Residential” was the quality and diversity of its common areas. These include two swimming pools, both outdoor and indoor, a spa area with integrated sauna, state-of-the-art gymnasium, co-working space and leisure areas offering services such as a cinema and gastro-bar.
For our architectural firm it is a great joy that Jade Tower has won the Luxury Lifestyle Award in the category “Best Sustainable Luxury Residential”. In the words of Javier Rueda, architect of HCP and responsible for the project: “Carrying out this project has allowed us to put into practice many of the corporate values that define HCP, such as sustainability, innovation, rigor and creativity. It is a project that stands out both for its contemporary design, open to the outside, and for its care for the environment. We are very pleased to have won this international award”.
We would like to thank the Luxury Lifestyle Awards organization for this recognition. We also thank all the local media, such as El Español de Málaga, La Opinión de Málaga and Málaga Hoy, for echoing this news. Finally, we are especially grateful to the developer Cordia for trusting HCP to carry out Jade Tower, their first residential project in Spain, and we will be happy to design the projects they propose to us.
