HCP Takes Part in the Transformation of Callejones del Perchel

Bringing new life to Callejones del Perchel

The alleyways of El Perchel are set to undergo a new phase of transformation with a project that will combine residential uses and flex-living spaces in one of Málaga’s most iconic historic areas.
Designed by HCP+, the development will contribute to the renewal of this part of the city through a proposal aimed at boosting residential activity and the urban vitality of the area.

Transforming Callejones del Perchel

The project represents an opportunity to revitalise an urban area with a strong identity within Málaga. Furthermore, it will help to boost residential activity and contribute to the regeneration of a strategic area close to the city centre.
The project has been conceived to blend into the existing urban fabric and foster an active relationship with the surroundings. It also aims to help revitalise the neighbourhood and create new spaces for living, working and socialising.

A proposal geared towards contemporary urban living

The proposal combines different residential uses (such as flex living) within a single development, promoting diversity and providing new housing alternatives in one of the city’s areas with the greatest potential for transformation.
At the same time, the project helps to expand Málaga’s residential offering, reinforcing the urban and residential character of this part of Perchel.

Architecture for the city

At HCP, we believe that urban renewal processes must go beyond the construction of new buildings. We therefore approach such projects with a vision focused on improving urban integration, revitalising spaces and creating value for the surrounding area.
The project in El Perchel is part of this approach to architecture: as a discipline capable of driving positive transformation in the city, reclaiming strategic spaces and helping to improve the quality of life for those who live there.
