Mosque at stables, Bahrain. H-2489

Mosque project located next to Al Jazayir stables, owned by the royal house of Bahrain, and carried out for Kemen Group. The complex is structured around a central axis that marks Mecca’s direction. The main prayer building is accessed through a courtyard flanked by two smaller volumes that house the ablution rooms and the Imam’s apartment. The façade alternates vertical opaque panels and hollows covered by GRC lattices that allow light to pass inside.
