On the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the Mediterranean Real Estate Exhibition (SIMED) in Malaga, Metros2 magazine, a benchmark in the sector, has interviewed Jacobo Higuera Mata, Operations Director of HCP.
In this interview, Jacobo Higuera reviews some of the most important aspects of 2023 for our architecture studio, highlighting the collaborations we are carrying out with major international architecture studios, such as the work with Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) for the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission in Seville, or the residential project we are developing in Gavá together with UNStudio.
Jacobo Higuera also took the opportunity to talk about some of HCP’s main projects over the last year. These include residential developments (which are our main line of business), as well as hotel projects, with 7 in the portfolio at present. Our Operations Director highlights the development of the Angsana Real de la Quinta hotel (the first Banyan Tree in Spain), in which we are collaborating with OBMI, and the refurbishment of the Pinomar hotel (Senator).
Precisely, Jacobo Higuera has expressed in this interview that HCP’s roadmap in the short and medium term goes through “the diversification of the portfolio, both in terms of typology and geography” as a solid strategy to “mitigate risks and take advantage of emerging opportunities”. To this end, our COO points out some of the keys we are working on at HCP: from digital transformation to investment in talent and continuous training, without losing sight of the corporate values that have allowed us to work for the past 36 years, such as humility, dedication and effort.
Many thanks to Metros2 for counting on us for their SIMED special!
