HCP, one of the top five architectural firms in Spain

Malaga-based architecture firm HCP, among the top 5 architecture firms in Spain

The Annual Report on Architecture Firms, published by Alimarket and recently shared by Observatorio Inmobiliario, indicates that HCP is one of the five most important architecture firms in Spain. For us it is a great source of joy and pride to be in this ranking alongside studios such as IDOM, Bofill, Batlle i Roig and L35, which are great architectural references both in our country and abroad.

One of the facts that the Alimarket report highlights is the absence of Madrid firms among the top five in the ranking, which is dominated by Basque (IDOM), Andalusian (HCP) and Catalan (Bofill, Batlle i Roig and L35) firms. However, it should be noted that HCP is the only Andalusian firm to appear in the top 30 of the list.

This report highlights the growth trend of recent years (with the exception of 2020) for the most important architectural firms in Spain, despite the fact that the outlook for the last year was more conservative, as the sector has had to face the increase in construction costs or the significant rise in inflation. In the case of HCP, the commitment to innovation, sustainability, the expansion of our portfolio and the strengthening of our international presence are key to overcoming the challenges of the market.

Appearing among the top five architectural firms in Spain is the result of the hard work, dedication and passion of our great team. Likewise, this achievement would not have been possible without the continued trust of our clients. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank you for joining us on this journey and sharing our vision to create spaces that improve people’s lives, always focused on sustainability, innovation and technical excellence.

2024 could not have started better for HCP, positioning us as one of the five most relevant architectural firms in Spain and among the 100 in the world in the World Architecture 100 (WA100) ranking of Building Design. However, we are clear that this also implies a certain responsibility to maintain this position, so we must continue on the path of effort and collaboration with our clients. We will continue to work together, keeping our mission and vision at the forefront, to create spaces and buildings that not only meet today’s needs, but also inspire future generations.
